Golf Evaluation
The components characteristic of a thorough golf evaluation include the client’s medical and physical history, basic technique evaluation, golf swing analysis, course management evaluation and equipment evaluation. The challenge for most golf pros is that they may not have the capacity or the sufficient expertise in being able to assess each of these components. At Fit Core, the PT’s are trained and certified through the Titleist Performance Institute, to perform a thorough golf evaluation, as well as evaluate and treat faulty movement patterns, body mechanics and connective tissue dysfunction. The TPI Program enables our TPI-certified clinicians to apply our physical therapy knowledge to the golf evaluation and exercise prescription process.
Goal: To identify and improve deficiencies in the golf-specific movement patterns that may hinder a golfer’s game and/or put them at risk for injury.
At Fit Core Physical Therapy, we will work closely as a team with golf clients and golf pros in order to target and address these movement/structural deficiencies, and to ultimately minimize injury and pain and maximize their game.
